Rehearsal and recording in February.
Made film music for an animation movie in Bergen. Premiere due in February.
Omenås Music Festival 2010 is ready with a new profile: A travelling festival during three days in Valldal, Ulsteinvik and Ålesund. Sunnmøre will enjoy this 11. - 13. June. More details to come about what, when and where.

Improvised Jazz/Rock from a great band with Stian Omenås - trumpet, Asbjørn Lerheim - guitar, Terje Storsten - bass and Øyvind Skarbø - drums.
Its really warm in Norway right now, so I take some days of after a busy springtime. In June Im finishing my conducting, Europe Tour with Parallax trio and my own Omenås Music Festival. Everything went really well.

My concert-projects for children "Frå Null til Tull" and "Tuuut !" is working well and will do a lot of touring in 2009/2010.
Cape Town Concerts in South Africa with "Omenås/Skarbø" in February was a great sucsess. We played at "On the Edge of Wrong", organized by the Norwegian guitarplayer Morten Minothi Kristiansen. Hope to go back there soon.

My quartet, Stian Around a Hill Quartet - is ready with our first CD in spring 2009. Concerts in Norway and Europe.
In January and March I will tour with a music/lyric production aimed at children. Lyrics by Marit Kaldhol and compositions by SO. Actor Inger Bakke and the bass player Audun Skorgen are also a part of the production.
New CD from drummer Terje Engen, will be recorded in January.
"Omenås/Skarbø" playing in Cape Town, "Send in the Clowns" in Italy, and Parallax Germany and England. This is great!

Hi,
Ålesund Stringquartet will play Omenås Stringquartet in Ålesund, 25th of September.
Stian Around a Hill Q - studio in October.
"Tuuut" and "Null til tull", are two new projects for school concerts in Norway.
Will conduct different concerts with Filmmusic this autumn.

Hi,
New Music at this website now: "Stian Around a Hill Quartet", my new quartet playing my compositions.
Omenås Music Festival in Valldal, west of Norway: 6.-7. Of June.
Touring autumn 2008 with "Stian Around Q", Send in the Clowns and Bungalow.
2009: New project touring Schools in Norway, with Inger Bakke (teather/voice) and Audun Skorgen (bass). / Recording CD with Terje Engen (drummer/composer).
Concerts in Indian with tabla player Jai Shankar. More information is coming.
Ålesund Stringquartet are playing my Stringquartet in Ålesund, 8th Of June.
Working with a new compositions for windquintet and modern dans in Berlin i August.
